Oteut
Oteut is the smallest figure I have sculpted thus far--I just wanted to experiment in working with a much smaller size; she fits in the palm of my hand.
Oteut is a full body sculpt of polymer clay that is then painted over with oils. However, the raised design on her body, which form the clothing, was painted with copper paint and then oxidized.
Her wings are made of lace that has been stiffened, stretched over a metal frame, painted with copper paint, and then oxidized as well. The wings are also embedded with glass beads.
Oteut is permanently attached to her base, which is made of glass chips embedded in cement.
